Peter Van Winkle, CPA

Peter Van Winkle, CPA was established in the spring of 1992 with a goal of providing client oriented results by proactively managing business and individual tax and financial planning while providing superior customer service.  The firm was founded by Peter Van Winkle and he brings many years of working in a planning environment at Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) and KPMG to complex tax and financial situations for both individuals and closely held businesses.

Peter Van Winkle graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and completed his Master of Science degree in Accounting at the University of Virginia from which he was graduated in 1993.  At the University of Virginia Peter concentrated his studies on the taxation of corporations, partnerships, individuals, trusts and estates.

Peter Van Winkle grew up in Virginia Beach, settled in Richmond and is married to Courtney Van Winkle.  They have four children.  In his spare time Peter enjoys bicycling, skiing, reading and the beach.
